ADAS Sensor Fusion system - Mid range and Long Range Radar
Led a international Diagnostic and Fault management team (~15 peoples) in a Mid Range and Full Range Radar System for L2 ADAS system in Iveco commercial and heavy duty vehicles. Delivering BSW Solution to project, aligned with customer milestones and project planning. Collaborated across multiple teams and divisions to ensure timely software delivery.
Key Contributions & Achievements
- Clarified and consolidated customer requirements, achieving full coverage and systematically decomposing them into software architecture and detailed design.
- Mentored a team of nine junior developers across offshore locations, empowering them to become autonomous, competent software engineers.
- Designed a seamless integration strategy for SAE-J1939 commercial-vehicle diagnostics into our legacy UDS (ISO-14229) framework.
- Integrated legacy DCM into the AUTOSAR BSW stack, upgrading safety qualification from ASIL A to ASIL D.
- Collaborated with the customer’s Italian production plant to automate diagnostic workflows, improving problem-resolution speed by 20%.
Responsibilities & Deliverables
- Performed requirements engineering for SYS.1 elicitation with the systems team, clarifying technical feasibility with Iveco.
- Served as the primary technical liaison to the customer and third-party suppliers, gathering information and breaking it down into actionable tasks for the team.
- Planned work packages and resource allocation, managed project budgets, and reported status and performance to the project lead.
- Designed complex diagnostic features in collaboration with software architects for a safety-critical ASIL D system.
- Designed and maintained a cybersecurity-critical key management system in collaboration with the customer.
- Conducted and led critical debugging activites on the AURIX microcontroller, resolving complex issues at ZF production sites.
