Topic: Development of V2X testbed enabling ITS G5 and WAVE (IEEE 802.11p) communication protocols

– Assessed and compared the performance of IEEE 802.11p WAVE and ETSI ITS G5 protocols using two Infineon TC2x development boards interfaced via CAN to Kapsch V2X modules.

– Designed and implemented a Linux-based testbed to simulate and measure various V2X communication scenarios.

– Developed software components in C++ for Linux-based OpenWRT applications utilizing Kapsch V2X devices.

– Validated wireless communication based on IEEE 802.11p between two automotive ECUs.
